18 Dec CRUISEFIRE ALPINE PASSES 2015
SPORTS CAR TOUR THROUGH THE ALPS
04. – 06. SEPTEMBER
MUNICH – LECH – ST.MORITZ
The Königsplatz in Munich was the starting point for all petrolheads. We got together early in the morning and met in the area specially reserved for Cruisefire. After the briefing we started towards to the Alps. First through the Ammergau Alps on some beautiful and winding country roads to Ofterschwang to Sonnenalp. After an enjoyable lunch, we started the engines again and made our way to Lech. We ended a driving-happy day with a 4-course dinner in one of the rooms of the Hotel Arlberg. After a wonderful stay in the fashionable Hotel Arlberg, we drove a bow on the map towards St. Moritz. Our goal on the second day was the famous Timmelsjoch, an absolute pleasure to drive on open roads. When we arrived at the Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains, we had a bit of free time and time to relax before we held our drivers dinner in the Michelin star restaurant. Here we ended the day and were looking forward to the last day of the Cruisefire Alpine Pass 2015. The day dawned with a wonderful sunrise, all participants checked out, saddled the PS bolides and got ready for the last stage of the sports car tour. The highlight of the sports car trip in 2015 was the Stelvio Pass. We ended the tour at 2700 meters, the highest point that could be driven over. Each participant took home a lot of great experiences and was already looking forward to the next year.
