CRUISEFIRE ITALIAN DRIVE

Once Wörthersee and back was the motto from May 20 to 22. We started the engines at Hugo’s Beach Club on Lake Starnberg and passed several lakes until we arrived in Kitzbühel at the Rosi Alm. As always, the welcome here is very warm. The lunch is very delicious and regional. In any case, always worth a visit. After our refreshment we were ready for many curves and the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. What a drive. An absolute dream road! After we passed the Großglockner and the first day was coming to an end, we arrived at our stage destination. Lake Wörthersee and the Falkensteiner Schloss Hotel provide an extraordinary backdrop. It’s not for nothing that the song says: “A castle on Lake Wörthersee, on beautiful Lake Wörthersee” And that’s exactly how it is in reality. After a 4-course dinner in our own beach club, the Seespitz, we ended the first day of the tour. On the second day of the sports car tour, the Dolomites and the breathtaking rock formations were on the agenda. It is an absolute pleasure to drive through this world heritage site in a sports car. In the evening we arrived at Villa del Sogno, our own villa on Lake Garda. Here we celebrated a gala dinner directly on the large lake terrace with our friends from the Riva Club. It was a great evening in Italian ambience. On the last day of the sports car excursion a very special highlight was waiting for all participants. Together with the Riva Club and 7 Riva boats we made a Lake Garda round trip in bright sunshine. A unique experience. The Cruisefire Italian Drive 2016 could not have ended better.
