DTM 2023 TEST DAYS RED BULL RING
April 16-17, 2023
First showdown for SSR Performance in the 2023 DTM: the official test and media days took place at the Red Bull Ring this weekend. Team owner Stefan Schlund’s squad, which is the only crew to field three cars in the current DTM season, focused primarily on the set-up of the vehicles and the optimization of internal processes. The Italian Alessio Deledda (28) started in the number 6 on the 4.318-kilometer race track in Austria. French Lamborghini works driver Franck Perera (39) drove the number 94 for the Munich team. Works driver colleague Sandy Mitchell (23) from Great Britain, who took the wheel for Mirko Bortolotti (Italy/33) due to a scheduling conflict with the FIA World Endurance Championship grabbed the number 92.
SSR Performance is ready for the new DTM-Saison
In total, the three Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 completed around 960 test kilometers on the alpine circuit and collected important data in the process. In the coming weeks, SSR Performance will continue to prepare intensively for the new DTM season, which begins on May 26th in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, in private tests.
